Barry is a sound engineer who is as comfortable multi-tracking live bands in the back of a club as he is engineering podcasts and radio shows in Folded Wing’s cosy Clerkenwell studio. A self confessed audio obsessive, Barry was trained in the subtleties of audio production by a BBC studio manager when he left audio engineering college. After spending several years as Head of Engineering at the UK’s largest independent radio production company, Barry went freelance and has worked on many of Folded Wing’s most prominent productions.

With more than 500 independently produced BBC radio programs mixed, 100’s of high level artist sessions recorded and several large scale Outdoor Broadcasts and live sound recordings under his belt, he has a wealth of experience to draw upon. Ever reliable, ever flexible and with 2 very good ears, his attention to detail helps add the audio sheen to Folded Wing productions.
