Every time I’ve heard a radio programme or podcast that I loved in the last few years it was nearly always Folded Wing who were behind it. They make wonderful, forward thinking shows that are always unique.”
Jamie Cullum

Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2 is the place where Jamie shares his love and genuine passion for music every Tuesday night from 7–8pm. The programme showcases all types of jazz and music rooted in jazz, from the heritage and the history to the new and upcoming future face of jazz.

As well as featuring sessions and interviews with jazz legends like Ramsey Lewis, Ahmad Jamal, and Gil Scott-Heron, the show is also an important platform for showcasing exciting, new talent such as Gregory Porter, Matthew Halsall and Sons of Kemet. Other highlights on the show have included special programmes recorded at the Cheltenhem and Newport Jazz festivals, two part extended shows on film legend and jazz fan, Clint Eastwood, and piano giant, Dave Brubeck, and in-depth interviews with Wynton Marsalis, Cleo Laine, Mark Murphy, Georgie Fame, Pat Metheny, Paul McCartney, Charlie Watts, Kate Bush and little-known jazz lover, Lars Ulrich of Metallica!

Jamie’s show has been on air for over three years now and has become one of BBC Radio 2’s flagship shows. With 920,000 listeners, the programme has a record reach and share for its slot. Jamie’s show is also syndicated to stations around the world, from France to Canada to SE Asia, and has won four medals at the New York Festivals Radio Awards for ‘Best Jazz Format’ and ‘Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program’.

In 2012 Jamie won Jazz Broadcaster of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and in 2013 Jamie was nominated for a Sony Award for Music Radio Broadcaster of the Year.
