Folded Wing is bringing Tomorrow's Warriors to Southend-on-Sea for the very first time on Saturday 11th October 2025, for the Southend Jazz Festival.

Folded Wing has a long-standing relationship with Tomorrow’s Warriors setting up their ‘Roots To The Future’ training scheme together, which provides professional training in Radio and Podcasting to young people alongside placements and paid work for aspiring presenters and producers.
This performance is part of Tomorrow’s Warriors’ Warriors Rise initiative, which sees the acclaimed jazz talent development organisation support three emerging Warriors’ artists build a UK tour, securing gigs, and providing tour planning and marketing mentoring.
Warriors Rise is a supported by the Stanley Thomas Johnson foundation and the PRS Foundation Talent Development Network Partner initiative supported by PPL.
This event is part of two nights that Folded Wing are proud to be programming at our first Southend Jazz Festival. On Friday 10th October 2025, virtuoso guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Rosie Frater-Taylor will be demonstrating why she is such a compelling performer.
