The 2014 World Cup means the world's eyes are set to be focused on Brazil this year and, with the launch of a brand new radio show dedicated to new Brazilian music, its ears can be too.

Folded Wing are delighted to introduce 'Brasil Music Exchange', produced in partnership with Brasil Música e Artes, a non-profit organisation for the promotion of Brazilian music around the world and Apex-Brasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. The show is presented by Brazilian music expert Jody Gillett and will showcase exciting up-and-coming artists in all genres of music from all across Brazil.

The first 'Brasil Music Exchange' show launched last week and showcases new music from each of the 12 host cities of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Each subsequent show will focus on the music and artists from the 12 host cities and beyond, starting with Recife and Rio de Janeiro in March, Salvador and Sao Paulo in April, and Manaus, Fortaleza, Natal & Belem (Amazon/North) in May.

'Brasil Music Exchange' is available to listen to on Mixcloud, the Brasil Music Exchange website, the inflight entertainment system on British Airways and will be syndicated to radio stations across the world.
