The Folded Wing produced Jamie Cullum show for BBC Radio 2 is now in full swing and this week’s episode is our favourite so far. Just in case you missed it, see if the below takes your fancy and listen again.

As guest director of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival this year, Jamie (and the Folded Wing team) went backstage to interview and play the music of some of the artists performing at the event: Carla Bley; saxophonist Andy Sheppard; Rory Simmons, the trumpeter from innovative ten piece Fringe Magnetic and Norwegian singer Beate S. Lech from Beady Belle join Jamie to play some of their tunes and give us a snippet of life at the festival.

To round everything off nicely, the show also includes tracks from John Scofield, the Dave Holland Octet and Imelda May and features another cut from the ingenious Polar Bear session we recorded at Maida Vale a couple of weeks back.
