Ruth is a music journalist, presenter and producer who has worked on several projects here at Folded Wing, including the Henry T’s Entertainment Podcast. Ruth cut her radio teeth working on the music shows for BBC London 94.9FM including Norman Jay’s Giant 45 and Charlie Gillett’s Sound of the World.

For the last 3 years she has been working as a freelance producer and presenter for the BBC World Service, on their flagship music magazine programme The Beat, as a music journalist for BBC 6 Music, an arts and entertainment reporter for BBC Radio 2 and Woman’s Hour. Ruth also has presenting experience of the truest kind, fronting an overnight phone in programme on BBC London 94.9FM, five days a week, for six months in 2006 - which was an eye opener to say the least! Ruth also presents a weekly show on London’s arts station Resonance 104.4FM, The Other Woman, the UK’s only radio show with an all woman playlist.
