Rachel is an Assistant Producer and has worked at Folded Wing since graduating from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in 2007. At Folded Wing, Rachel is Assistant Producer on the British Council’s internationally syndicated ‘The Selector’ show, as well as the Red Bull Music Academy Radio shows, and she produced our BBC Radio 1 documentary ‘Going Solo’. Rachel has also worked as Broadcast Assistant on the award winning Book Slam Podcast and as Assistant Producer on ‘Pick n Mix Live from the Red Bull Studio’.
Rachel completed a number of work experience placements on her path into radio, working as a trainee BA at BBC London 94.9, shadowing the Sound Supervisor at BBC Resources (Sound) and BBC Radio 4, and researching and co-presenting on The News Hour on TGR Sound. Rachel also combines her interest in music and the arts, collaborating on installation projects and was a former member of London Sinfonietta’s Culture Collective, curating events at Royal Festival Hall.
