John was first brought into the Folded Wing family in 2009 as a freelance producer working on shows for RBMA Radio and is now Producer on our show The Selector for the British Council. Before this John worked across various BBC departments, including Radio 2, 5 live, 6 Music, World Service and BBC Worldwide. He has produced documentaries for 6 Music, co-produced weekly magazine shows on 5 live and worked alongside broadcasters as venerable as Steve Lamacq, Johnny Walker, Stuart Maconie and Gideon Coe.

For seven years the programme kits he produced for syndication through BBC Worldwide helped promote bands across the globe and the OBs he has worked on, such as Live Earth, have reached many millions of listeners around the world. In the course of his career, John has interviewed hundreds of people from Jackie Chan to Guy Garvey.

Under the guise of Pathic, John is also a DJ & Producer and runs the much respected underground electro label, Pyramid Transmissions. His productions have been released on labels such as Cultivated Electronics and Ai Records and since 2004 he has taken his musical endeavours into the live arena with laptop performances at festivals such as Bestival and Bloc Weekend and various club nights around the world.
