Karen P and Folded Wing helped set up this groundbreaking internet radio station in October 2006 for the Roundhouse venue in Camden, London. The station serves as a real-world training ground for young people to learn about all aspects of radio production. Working alongside professionals sourced by Folded Wing and including Karen herself and our very own Becky Jacobs, the young people work to produce innovative and creative content in both music and speech.

The BBC supported Roundhouse Radio during its first phase to create unique content around the Electric Proms in 2007 and 2008 and we have subsequently worked to link The Roundhouse to huge organisations including The Guardian, BBC 1Xtra, 4Music, and J Wave Radio in Tokyo Japan. Roundhouse Radio has now evolved to the stage that it is run by the young people themselves under the supervision of mentors.
