Karen P Productions produced a podcast in order to promote the Cinematic Orchestra album ‘Ma Fleur’, released in 2007. Ninja Tune specifically wanted to reach a wider audience with a high quality documentary style production, which would engage with a broad range of listeners interested as much in the story as in the music.
The programme hinged on a live performance at The Barbican and featured interviews with Jason Swinscoe from the Cinematic Orchestra, singer Eska, DJ Gilles Peterson, and The Guardian’s Pascal Wyse. The Cinematic Orchestra podcast is a high quality production, comprising a specifically tailored sound design package.
