Approached by the BBC for ideas leading up to 2007 Electric Proms, Karen P initiated a unique collaborative project between the UK’s Jamie Cullum and Japan’s Soil & “Pimp” Sessions. As well as being broadcast on the BBC in the UK, Folded Wing facilitated the show’s syndication to Japan’s J Wave Radio.

This unique collaborative project illustrates the Folded Wing ethos beautifully – bringing musicians from different disciplines and ends of the earth together; creating a unique live experience; connecting audiences worldwide with it through multiple broadcast networks. In fact the collaboration was such a hit that it was repeated in Japan in 2008. You can check out footage from the concert
