This year marks two big anniversaries - Folded Wing turns 10, and our home The Premises Studios turns 30! So to celebrate, we joined forces and threw a (very) Big Anniversary Party on Saturday 20th May, with incredible live acts, awesome DJs and lots of our lovely friends!
Read moreWe welcomed over 300 musicians, industry pros and members of the local community through our doors for our biggest event of the year. We also had two fantastic stages of live bands and DJs specially curated for the night, including a Folded Wing room featuring the magical Gwyneth Herbert, Omar Puente and his brilliant Cuban jazz band, and our friends Throws who closed the night with a spellbinding set.
Following the live music, the party continued into the early hours with amazing DJ sets, including funk, soul and exotica from one of our favourite artists (and host of our new Adventures In Sound podcast), Anne Frankenstein.
Other fantastic artists who performed on the night include The Puppini Sisters, The Hulas, Jasmine Power, The Wandering Hearts, Bee Bakare, Ed Abela, Natalie Williams, Hannah V, Fari B, Yama Yama and Dead Pirates. Not to mention the delicious meze courtesy of the team at The Premises Café!
