- Someone who is excited about new music across all genres, from folk to grime, jazz to hip hop
- Someone with a genuine passion for audio and radio! As we make a lot of specialist music programmes, an interest in this area would be ideal
- Someone with a desire to be a producer and who dreams to be off mic and help develop exciting new talent
- A good understanding of editing techniques
- A passion for interviewing people
- A good understanding of Social Media and how it can be used within Radio
- Someone who can work well in a small team
- Someone full of ideas for new shows and documentaries
- An understanding of the work we do at Folded Wing, in particular our weekly radio shows
What you will be doing…
What you'll be doing will depend on what we're working on at the time of your placement but we encourage all interns to get involved in a variety of tasks in order to provide an solid insight into what goes in to producing our weekly programming, as well as ad hoc projects and documentaries. Previous interns have had the opportunity to shadow live shows and sessions, undertake research for upcoming BBC documentaries and help edit audio. One thing is certain; we'll be sure to keep you busy!
