Lucy's choice
Ginuwine - 'Pony' (Rustie Remix)
"I've been listening a lot to Rustie's remix of Ginuwine's stone cold classic 'Pony'. Rustie claims he made it for the soundtrack of Magic Mike XXL - whether or not that's a wind up I'm not quite sure but it's amazing."
Karen's choice
Jamie Woon - 'Sharpness'
“Jamie Woon tracks always have a crazy effect on me... I remember so clearly receiving the vinyl of ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ when I was producing Gilles P’s show and it blowing me away so much on first listen, I couldn't stop listening and must have listened 20 times in a row. This track did exactly the same, this time through my computer! Jamie Woon is back! Cannot wait to hear more!!”
Pete's choice
Koreless - 'TT'
"Goldierocks played this on The Selector a few weeks back and I've had it on repeat ever since. It's so hypnotic and repetitive, I just get lost in it."
Matt's choice
The Maccabees - 'Spit It Out'
"First saw this band in a tiny venue in Birmingham for £6 (mega bargain!) when I was 17 and have been in love with them ever since. They've recently put out their fourth album 'Marks To Prove It' and it's a treat - this track 'Spit It Out' is a real standout track from the album for me, demonstrating their ability to perfectly build up a tune! "
Sandie's choice
Little Mix - 'Black Magic'
"I love this song and this performance on James Corden's show is brilliant!"
Jim's choice
Various - 'Rastafari - The Dreads Enter Babylon 1955 - 1983'
"Yet another essential Soul Jazz Records comp! This came out a few weeks ago and I haven't stop listening to it. So many killer tunes, and a nice selection of styles from the nyabinghi drums of Count Ossie to early reggae like this Laurel Aitken track from 1969. I'm playing records at a Carnival party this weekend and this is definitely getting dropped!"
