Sufjan Stevens - 'Should Have Known Better'
"I've got Sufjan Stevens' new album 'Carrie & Lowell' on heavy repeat at the moment - can't stop listening to it even though it keeps making me cry. It's one of the saddest records I've ever heard but one of the most beautiful too."
Pete's choice
The Magic Gang - 'Alright'
"I LOVE these guys! A brilliant band from Brighton, making proper Californian, Weezer style rock. This is the B-side to their debut single 'No Fun', but I think it might be even better, definitely check out 'No Fun' though! I am really excited about what these guys are going to do next, and equally so about the collective in Brighton they are part of called Echochamp, check out Manuka Honeys and Sulky Boy also."

Monkey Safari - 'Cranes' (Kölsch Remix)
"I'm obsessed with this song at the moment - big, emotional, gradient house music! As Annie Mac described it, 'one where you find your mates at Glastonbury, hug them and tell them you love them!"

Cassandra Wilson - 'Run The Voodoo Down' (Joaquin Runs The Voodoo Down Mix)
"I recently started a new club night called VERSION, all about dub and dub influenced music, and this was the big tune of the night for me, as played by Demus. I'd never heard it before, at least not on a big sound system and it sounded incredible. Joe Claussell remixing Cassandra Wilson's tribute to Miles Davis' 'Miles Runs The Voodoo Down' from his 'Bitches Brew' album. Killer!"

Ed Sheeran - 'Thinking Out Loud'
"He has the best voice, I love this song. It's a good wedding tune, and for one month I haven't chosen Neil Diamond!"

Zaz - 'Paris Sera Toujours Paris'
"I've been really taken by a French singer called Zaz. She's huge in France, but isn't very well known yet in the UK. Jamie has chosen her track 'Paris Sera Toujours Paris' for his BBC Radio 2 show. It's got a real Django Reinhardt 'Hot Club de France' feel to it, and sounds like it belongs on the soundtrack of 'Belleville Rendezvous'. It comes from her latest album, which is entirely made up of songs about Paris."
