Folded Wing have been commissioned to produce a seven part Latin music series for BBC Radio 2, presented by seven times Grammy winner Gloria Estefan!
The series is called 'Gloria Estefan's Latin Beat' and traces the history of Latin music from its roots to the present day and features interviews with Latin stars and memories from Gloria’s four decades in the music business.
The seven part series is being recorded at Gloria's studio in Miami and will be her personal take on the current Latin scene, and a look at how the music has been shaped by influences from Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Africa and beyond.
The 60 mins programmes will be broadcast weekly from Thursday 3 November at 11pm. Do not miss!
