Incredible news, Folded Wing have won another award!
After last week's amazing Indie of the Year win at the Radio Production Awards, we have now been awarded 'Best International Radio Show' for our show The Selector for the British Council at the 2011 International Radio Festival.
The International Radio Festival (IRF) took place last week in Zurich, Switzerland and featured some of the most groundbreaking and forward-thinking radio stations and guests from across the world, including J-Wave FM (Tokyo), Radio Nova (Paris), East Village Radio (New York) and Folded Wing!
Whilst at the festival, Karen P and The Selector team presented a three hour programme showcasing radio in the UK and Folded Wing’s various clients, with a focus on The Selector, and the important platform it provides for new UK music to be heard across the globe.
Plus there were some very special guest appearances at the festival from some of the original 'Pirate' DJ legends, including none other than Tony Blackburn, Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart, Tony Prince, Mark Wesley, Paul Burnett, The Emperor Rosko and Larry Tremaine.
