“Looks like we’re going to need a bigger cabinet!”

What a week we've had... Five awards in Seven days!

After being named Indie of the Year at last week’s Radio Production Awards (RPA's), Folded Wing has managed to win another four international awards!

After being praised by the RPA judges for the quality and diversity of our work and “extraordinary growth in difficult economic times", just a few days later Folded Wing won Best International Radio Show at the International Radio Festival (IRF) in Zurich for our programme, The Selector for the British Council!

Not content with that, in yesterday’s New York Festivals Radio Awards, we picked up prizes for Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program (Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2 & The Selector for The British Council), and Best Jazz Format (Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2).

Not bad for a week's work!

Karen P, our Director, said: “I’m delighted that the hard work and creative passion of our team has been recognised by these awards. It’s also a real tribute to our clients, who trust us to take risks with new forms of radio and have supported us all the way. We are going to have to order a bigger trophy cabinet!”
