Folded Wing are very happy to announce that we are working with Mr Bestival himself, BBC Radio 1’s Rob da Bank, to produce and launch the brand new Official Independent Chart Podcast.
Rob, who founded and runs his own indie label, Sunday Best, has pioneered the project to bring a focus back to the Indie Chart.
The monthly podcast launches on 15 February and is a celebration of all the best new indie music, including a round up of the Independent charts, live acoustic performances from all the latest indie acts, and guest appearances and interviews from some of the biggest indie label bosses.
The first show is a belter, featuring legendary music producer and Mute Records founder, Daniel Miller, an exclusive performance from British beatbox extraordinaire, Beardyman, and a live session and interview with New Zealand psych pop outfit Connan Mockasin. Essential listening all the way!
