Just when we thought we might sit down for a well-deserved coffee break, the new Folded Wing produced, Jamie Cullum show for BBC Radio 2 kick-starts into action!

The series, produced by our very own Karen P, will be a place where Jamie can share his love and passion for all types of jazz. There will be some of the heritage and history, as well as showing the new and upcoming face of the genre.

The first two shows have featured Ramsey Lewis, one of Jamie's favourite jazz pianists, a session from Polar Bear, who played us a couple of tracks from their new album 'Peepers' and also a feature with the ever versatile genre bending Robert Glasper.

As well as Karen, the production team is comprised of new Folded Wing producer Xanthe Fuller; engineer Mickey Curling, Ian Parkinson (ex head of specialist music at Radio 1 and the brains behind the setting up of 1Xtra) and Paul Bradshaw on research and consultation duties.
