For those of you that don’t know, 21CC provide opportunities for schools and community groups to IMAGINE, EXPLORE, LEARN & CREATE using multimedia and new technology, whilst being guided by highly creative facilitators who are all considered leaders in their profession.

Their latest project Tides and Times, celebrates all aspects of London’s River Thames and is aimed at encouraging young people to engage with the river the heart of their city. From Kew to the Thames Barrier, 16 primary schools along the Thames path will participate in this exciting multimedia project, encompassing radio, podcasts, film and animation. During this project, Karen will be spending a day recording at the Houses Of Parliament and then a day editing podcasts at BBC 21cc’s studio with the students.

All of the production work from the 16 schools will be displayed on 3 audiovisual pods, designed by 4 other schools and RIBA (Royal Institute Of British Architechs) London. The pods will be placed along the Thames Path to create a walking route.
