At the end of 2008 Cargo, London were celebrating another triumphant year by compiling a list of best gigs of 2008.

Amongst the inspiring list is featured not just one, but two of the Karen P presents Broad Casting nights!!!

One of the nights highlighted is the Mulatu Astatke & The Heliocentrics collaboration:
“…Having the Heliocentrics, one of the UKs best bands rooted in hiphop, interpret Mulatu’s classic tunes was reediculous.”
This collaboration was so successful that it prompted both artists to make an album together!!! Watch this space for more news on that in the coming months…’

The other top rated gig is Buraka Som Sistema setting Cargo on fire with their only UK gig with a full band!
